Invitations - Custom Postage!!

Did you know that you can create custom stamps to add that special touch to your party invitations?? Well, you can!! Just look at what you can do. Here is an example of a two-sided invitation which I collaborated on with my dear customer Monique for her beautiful daughter's third birthday...

I then created this artwork to be printed on the envelopes...

And Monique had these adorable stamps made to add the finishing touch to their invitations...

How cool is that??!! I'm sure the whole presentation definitely made her guest feel as though they were being invited to an Event, with a capital "E"!

And it's super easy! The post office gives you multiple options for creating personalized postage. You can add graphics or even pictures!!

So don't miss a single trick next time you want to make your event extra personal!

{Client Parties} Landon's Race Car Birthday Party!

I squeaked with delight when Jennifer sent me a link to photos of her son Landon's birthday party!

I kid you not this party had EVERYTHING!! (And it was inspired by a party which is very close to my heart, my son Dashell's 2nd birthday party. So I guess, I am just a little bias!)

Jennifer designed a beautiful kids table...

And she did fabulous things with our Race Car Printables. Let me tell you, this lady knows her way around a Party Circle and her ideas are endless!

Let's Do Some Team Work!

You see that beautiful child? That's Greyson. The wonderful son of the delightful and fabulously talented Brittany of GreyGrey Designs...

And they need our help. Just a little... but a little would mean a lot.

Hang with me here for a moment... I know this is a lot of words and not enough pretty pictures but I promise I won't ramble on too long.

When I was 30 weeks pregnant with my first son, Dashell, he was diagnosed with Femoral Focal Hypoplasia with Unusual Facies Syndrome. (It's not a pretty syndrome. Then, of course, not many are. Take a moment and google it if you want.) We were shocked and devastated. We went for second opinions and prenatal MRI's but no one could tell us conclusively what we were going to face once he was born. The doctors recommended having a neonatologist at the birth in case his jaw was so short that he began to choke on his tongue. And only after he was born did we find out that in the end all those specialists were wrong (or maybe just all our prayers were answered)... and he was perfect in every way. We were lucky. And every single day I look at him and know that our lives could be so very, very different.

Now think about this...

What if you were pregnant and it went off without a hitch. And you had a beautiful baby and he was perfect in every way and then, suddenly, at 2 months it all started to go awry. This is Brittany's story and she tells it best so please click here and read it in her own words.

And when you're finished...

...gaze across the room or in the backyard or at a picture of your beautiful bundles of joy. Give them a hug and count your blessings. Every single one of them!

And then let's "do some team work!!" as my son says. Rummage around in the bottom of your purse or in the cup holder of your car and see if you have a couple bucks you forgot about that you can contribute to helping these kids. It only takes a few minutes. (I did it last night and it took only 2, so I'm speaking from experience.) I know it would mean more than you can imagine!

{Client Parties} Tulsi's Carnival Party!!

Ziem recently sent me a few pictures of her beautiful daughter, Tulsi's 1st birthday party and it looks like it was a blast!! It was a carnival themed party and they had everything from a GIANT slide,

to a dunk tank and body painting, 

to live goldfish as favors!!

Ziem had us adjust the colors of our Carnival/Circus Collection to match her pink, red and aqua palette which we couldn't have been happier to do. Just look at that beautiful cake!

What an amazing day!!

Sad but true my general lack of posting lately is not due to getting caught up in my wonderfully fabulous lifestyle and just loosing track of time (ha! how I wish that was true!)... instead it's because I got a darn cold last week that I just can't kick!

Have you seen this before??! It's Tempaper.

Temporary wallpaper!! How unbelievably cool is that?!

How great would it be to use it as a backdrop for a dessert table?!

And as if the original pre-printed designs weren't great enough, they have now come out with a new product which is a blank canvas that you can draw or paint on! Be still my beating heart!!
